Meiji Shrine at First Light

This is my second visit to Meiji Shrine, the first one was on 2012 during my first trip to Tokyo, honestly it didn't leave much impression on me, all I remember was it being super crowded even though it was around 10am on a weekday, full of tourists and local, couldn't enjoy anything.
So this time, I decided to go much much earlier, we got there at 07.00am on a Friday morning, it was empty and very tranquil, all we heard was bird chirping, totally different atmosphere from my first visit.
This was taken before we enter the shrine, how beautiful is this

Only a few local beside us

Local travelling to work and making a quick stop at Meiji

And we get to see the shrine worker cleaning in his white Hakama

Morning pray

When we finish exploring, the sun is fully up

I’m pretty sure everyone know about this already, but before entering or exiting the Torii gate, one must bow to show respect and never walk in the middle of the Torii gate because that is known as the passage of god, so if you ain’t no god, walk on the provided sidewalk please hahaha
If you really want to enjoy Meiji Shrine I highly recommend coming early morning where there is no crowd.
