Today I'm going to be talking about Shibuya.
Shibuya is known as the fashion city for young adults, however besides fashion, there are many different variety stores you can shop at too!
Shibuya109 is the place to go if you are looking for all the latest trends for Japanese fashion. The clothes here are catered towards young adults, some stores are pricier than others but there are quite a few stores that sell clothes for very affordable prices. If you are looking for the latest clothes, shoes, accessories etc, this is the place to go!
Don Quijote is a huge variety store chain in Japan. This is the new store that just opened up in 2017, you can find all sorts of things in here such as souvenirs, makeup, electronic goods, food, cosplay costumes, you can find so much in here!
Daiso is well known for selling all their items for just 100 yen (around $1 USD). For most of your daily needs, Daiso will have everything at a very affordable price. You may be able to find items that are great for decorating, or just every day items that you may need.
Tokyu Hands is another variety store in Japan that sells a lot of high quality goods. Some of the items in here are bit on the pricier side, but if you are looking for good quality Japanese items, this is where you can find them! They stock a variety of different things such as makeup, skincare, homeware, kitchen goods, garden goods, craft and even pets! They carry a lot of things you might be looking for so make sure you check the store out throughly!
Shibuya Center - Gai
Shibuya Center-Gai is just across the road from Shibuya station. Inside this street you will find lots of interesting shops as well as many restaurants!
One place that I love visiting is Its' Demo. A lot of people want to buy cute themed makeup, like Sailor Moon and Pokemon. Well this is the place to buy it!
That is it for the places I recommend you to shop at when you go to Shibuya. Of course since Shibuya is a main shopping district in Tokyo, there are many other shops that I didn't mention (but there are just too many of them!) Let me know what your favourite shop in Shibuya is!
