A New Zealand Dairy

A Japanese convenience store.

Travelers on a budget in Japan quickly realize how crucial convenience stores are to their adventures. Need an umbrella ? An sd card? Cash out ? A clean t shirt? Alcohol ? Dinner ? Convenience stores- or 'Kobini's' as they are called in Japanese- have you covered.
One thing you will definitely need in summer time is an icy treat to cool you down. Kobini's have your back here too.
Here are my top 3 picks that you should try on your trip:
1. Coolish.
A soft serve ice cream in a squeezey container. Who doesn't need this in their life?

2. Suikaba.
This cute watermelon flavored ice cream is delicious and refreshing . There were other brands selling watermelon flavors too but this was my favorite. If you become as obsessed with them as I was you can buy big packets of them at grocery stores for better value.

3. Ice no mi.
This cooling treat is fruity and perfect for when you don't want something too creamy. The grape flavor was my favorite.

So do you agree with my picks? Let me know what you think in the comments. And if anyone knows where to find these bad boys in New Zealand please let me know !
