Japan’s Top 10 Most Popular Cafes for Instagrammers

Japan is a shopping paradise with plenty of stores selling local foods, souvenirs, electronics and cosmetics. There are stores for budgets from 100 yen shops to high-end department stores. No doubt, shopping is one of the most enjoyable things in Japan. Although I like shopping, but I can’t resist many delicious foods and would like to share all the foods in social media. To be an instagrammer, I like to find some adorable shops or café in order to take a photos and post in social media. Today, I find 10 most popular cafes or shops for instagrammers ot “check in”. 
1. ELLE Café 
Do you heard ELLE magazine? The café was actually born as a fashion magazine in France. They suggest women live in beautiful and a healthy lifestyle. In the café, they have many kinds of low-calorie cold-pressed juice. In addition, they provide adorable desserts with fresh fruits including strawberry, mango, water-melon and some seasonal fruits. The mousses is smooth and soft, it will melt quickly in your mouth.

New New York Club is an American-style restaurant in Japan. Their speciality is rainbow colour bagel with sugar cream cheese. This bagel only available on Saturday, thus, you can see a long queue in front of the store on Saturday. They also provide many kinds of bagels with squid ink black out, beet flavoured pink panter or hibiscus berry. The bagel is soft and the veggies are fresh. So, why not try to grab rainbow colour bagel with soft cream cheese.

It is an interesting store’s name called Coisof which comes from the two Japanese words “love” and” richness”. Coisof is selling soft serve in Shibuya and opened in August 2017. The store serves two flavours of soft serve including white and black sesame as well as mix of the two flavours. The colourful toppings that make the soft serve more adorable and romantic. All the toppings are a traditional soft candy ball with many colours. They use red and white toppings in previous. Nowadays, they also provide pink, yellow, green and purple colour toppings.

Good Town Doughnuts is located in Harajuku area and the area has many unique stores and restaurants. Good Town Doughnuts has old tile walls and wooden furniture, just like American-style decoration. They serve doughnuts with delicious filling including smiley faces mango filled, uji matcha, cafe latte, raspberry pistachio, sea salt caramel, van houten chocolate and more. They also serves Homebaked meals on their menu including two-egg breakfast of classic American dinners, cheddar muffin and freshly made paninis. Take a seat and order a cup of expresso, Americano, latte or root beer to spend your day.

A very cute crepe with fresh flower and Buddha cake is selling in Kanon Coffee Kamakura. The crepe has good amount of filling, very soft and smooth fresh whipped cream add at the top of crepe. It looks like a small bouquet of flower and easy to eat neatly.

Tea Stand 7 is a popular tea shop with beautiful pink decoration. Many bloggers or young generation come to the shop for taking photos and share in social media. The shop also serves seasonal soft serve with freshly milk. Colourful sweet ball is added to make the soft serve more cute and adorable.

Sweet Twist is an ice-cream store with a focus on selling various kinds of natural homemade gelato. The shop’s interior is super cute and girly. It is a good place to take a photo with family and friends.  This gelato comes in a cup and you can add a topping as well. A cup of single gelato is cost 430 yen and a topping is 50 yen.

Access                       : 273 meters from Shimo Kitazawa.
Foodscape is located in Osaka where just a 5-minute walk from Fukushima station. This is the first shop of Yusuke Hotta in Osaka and they offer 60 to 70 kinds of breads with freshly ingredients and seasonal foods. A simple bread and simple coffee able to full your stomach. So, foodscape is a great place to stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinners when you travel to Osaka.

Tajimaji is a combination of floral shop and French creperie shop. It is located between Daikan yama and Shibuya about 10-minute walk from both stations. The right side from the entrance is flower shop and the left side of the shop is the order area. Their specialty is crepes with colourful flower and fruit toppings. It seems a small bouquet of flowers. The flavour options include Primula Pistachio (pistachio, white chocolate macaroons and violet), Cotton Coffee Chocolate (coffee cream, vanilla ice-cream and chocolate biscuit), Cymbidium Litchi (hibiscus jelly, lychee, marshmallows with strawberry) and more. Absolutely a good place to hang out with friends.

French Market provides freshly baked scones every day. There are many kinds of scones and cakes display in front if the counter. I highly recommend French toast here. The texture was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The toast is served with homemade syrup and soft cream. All flavours of the toast expands inside the mouth and it was so delicious.
