About this sight

Founded by Kagawa Toyohiko, a highly educated, talented and socially active Japanese Christian evangelist, this center was established to pass down the Christian faith and practices to following generations. The research center doubles as an art museum, with a collection and exhibition commemorating the life and works of Kagawa. The center also welcomes students and researchers, helping them acquire materials and references related to Kagawa. Photocopies of materials and books in the collection are available for a small fee. Typically, the center is open from Tuesday through Saturday and public holidays, and closes on Sunday and Monday during summer holiday, refurbishment period and at the end of the year. Make sure to check the announcements and the calendar on their website before your visit.
