About this sight

Located about 5 minutes north-east of Takenotsuka Station, this temple was constructed in 1614. It is famous for housing the grave of Ando Hiroshige, a Japanese ukiyo-e artist best known for his depictions of birds and flowers as well as landscapes, such as the series "The 69 Stations of the Kiso Kaido" or "The 53 Stations of the Tokaido".
