About this sight

This temple is widely-known for its celebration of the Japanese Period of Revival. In late October, community members come together in front of the shrine gates. Together, they observe the Ebisu-ko ceremony in honor of the god Ebisu. Over 500 street vendors gather to sell provisions traditionally utilized during the ceremony. At this event, visitors can sample the local specialty, bettara-zuke, a sweet and salty daikon radish pickles.
