About this sight

Opened in November 2012, this museum features approximately 3,000 items donated and deposited by Yoko Tadanori, a Japanese artist born in NIshiwaki, Hyogo. The collection includes a wide variety of media, consisting of paintings, prints, posters and more. Aside from these works, the museum also holds exhibitions featuring different artists who have links to Yokoo. There is an Archive Room on the fourth floor, where visitors can access a wide range of reading material discussing the life and works of Yokoo. In addition, the museum holds different events, lectures and workshops in the Open Studio in the first floor. The admission fee varies according to the exhibition, though the admission to the reading areas on the fourth floor and the Open Studio are free to the general public.
