About this sight

Built to commemorate the Year of the Child, the National Children's Castle (Kodomo no Shiro) is a destination designed with young children in mind. You can spend an entire day here with your children without running out of things to do. There is a gym, pool and observation deck on the premises. Two music studios house a large selection of musical instruments for children to play and explore. An indoor playground occupies an entire floor of the building.

The fine arts studio offers craft projects for children to complete and take home with them and the roof garden is an outdoor play area with bikes and riding toys. Magic shows, concerts, and plays are performed in the roundhouse theater. For your convenience, there are coin lockers, stroller storage and a nursing/diaper-changing room on site.
