About this sight

This gallery, located on the grounds of the Tokyo National Museum inside Ueno Park exhibits treasures from Horyu-ji Temple in Nara, which were donated to the Imperial Family in the year 1878. The building was designed by famous Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi.
