About this sight

Located on the northern island of Hokkaido, this train operates between Kushiro and Toro. It usually starts to run in late April until September. A combination of the words “noroi”, meaning slow, and “torokko”, meaning an open-air observation car, the name already suggests that guests riding this train get to enjoy the fresh air and natural scenery of Hokkaido. As the sightseeing train makes its way from Kushiro Station to Shibecha Station, the famous Kushiro Marshland can be observed. Please check their website before planning your trip, as the train's schedule is rather irregular.
