About this sight

Located in Tachibana Bay, this aquarium mostly houses penguins. The facility keeps eight species of penguins, including Little Penguins and King Penguins. They can be seen swimming in the Aquarium Zone of the complex. Aside from penguins, visitors can enjoy watching Golden mandarin fish, Japanese horseshoe crabs, sea goldies, clownfish, Christmas tree worms, and a variety of other sea creatures.
In addition, every Saturday, Sunday, and on national holidays, the museum offers “Feed the Penguins” and “Petting Zoo” events as well as hands-on experiences, including kayaking. Closed every third Wednesday of the month.
