Senshu-in is a temple located next to Somei Cemetery in Sugamo. The temple was founded in Asakusa in 1617 and subsequently moved to Sugamo in 1910. The temple is also known as the remains of Ihei Ito's house, a famous gardener during the Edo period, who specialized in the care of trees.
