About this sight

Originally opened in 1998 in Koto-Ku, this gallery relocated to its current location at Bakurocho in 2008. Named after the owner, Taro Nasu, this private gallery is part of the contemporary art establishment concentrated in the neighbourhood. Its interior decoration was designed by architect Jun Aoki, known for his work in Japan and internationally. The gallery has featured artists such as Tatsuo Majima, Futo Akiyoshi, Ryuji Miyamoto, Taiji Matsue, Cozue Takagi and international artists Anton Henning and Ryan Gander. The gallery has a spacious set-up, providing room for artists to create dynamic exhibits.
