Tottori Sand Museum
This museum is Japan’s only open-air museum exhibiting sculptures made of sand.
This shop offers camel rides through the Sand Dunes of Tottori. Established in 1960, it was the first shop to bring camels to Tottori. After moving to their current location in 1969, Rakudaya added a souvenir shop and restaurant to its business selling soft-serve ice cream and "sand eggs", eggs boiled in hot dune sand, among other things. Boasting a view over the sand dunes, their restaurant is a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
