Mount Washu Observatory
Mount Washu, or Washuzan, is a 133-m high mountain with a beautiful view of the islets and the Seto-ohashi Bridge.
The first jeans 'made in Japan' were made at this very street in 1960. Kojima Jeans Street is located in Okayama City, which is famous for producing denim. Originally, the street was called Ginza Street and used to be filled with many shops and shoppers. When the younger residents started to leave for bigger cities, the area became run-down. This is when jeans producers gathered to create the Kojima Jeans Street, a neighborhood project that brought life back into the town. Today, visitors can explore about 30 stores, cafes and shops, including an ice cream shop that sells denim ice cream.

2nd Street is located in Koenji, where some of the best thrift stores live. While there are other locations, I recommend this shop simply because there are so many other thrift stores next to it to explore in case you don’t find anything. This area has a whole street lined with secondhand clothing stores. 2nd Street is the large 2 floored building among them, you won’t miss it. If you dig deep you will find brands like Converse, Supreme, and Champion. Be warned that the men’s shoe section is very expensive compared to what you can find oversees, but still cheaper than a retailers of course. Check out their instagram(@2ndstreet_official) to get a better idea of what styles they carry. Photos found on their website.
