Located opposite the Osaka Securities Exchange and facing Nakanoshima Park, this Western-style two-storey building dates back to 1912. Declared a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan by the Agency of Cultural Affairs, the building has been operated by Kitahama Retro as an English-style tearoom since 1997. Serving over 40 kinds of teas and edibles such as sandwiches and scones, a retailer is downstairs, while the tearoom is upstairs.
