Built in 1988 at the height of Japan's economic "bubble" era by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, this building is made entirely of cement and evokes Ionian and Roman-style construction. The makeup of the M2 Building is in stark contrast to Kengo Kuma's later works, which use more natural materials and are sustainable in design.
