About this sight

A Buddhist temple with a long history, Entsu-in Temple features two gardens, one traditionally Japanese, the other Western-style. Classes teaching how to make Buddhist rosaries are also available. The temple was originally built to house the mausoleum of Date Mitsumune, a member of the Date feudal clan which dates back to the 14th century.
