About this sight

The Oita Bank Dome was originally built in 2002 for the football world cup by famous designer, Kisho Kurokawa. Due to the high-end architecture and largest retractable roof in Japan, spectators can enjoy a great view of the pitch from every seat. It is now currently being utilized as the home ground for the J-League football team, Oita Trinity. Seating around 40,000 people, it will also play host to the Rugby World Cup 2019.
