About Karasuma, Shijo

Karasuma is located in the heart of Kyoto. It is the interchange between Kyoto Metro and Hankyu Kyoto Line. There are also many bus lines that make it easy to reach the Southeast, North and South. Around this area, you will find bustling commercial streets, financial institutions, office buildings, shopping malls and gourmet restaurants. Kyoto Museum of Culture, Six Corners Hall and NHK Kyoto Broadcasting Board are the major landmarks. It is only one stop away from Kawaramachi, the main shopping district of Kyoto.
