I like Chris' approach to presenting value in videos. It's not about clickbait, but rather finding a hook to bring in an audience and the content and presentation to keep them around.

I agree Andy, but there is also a "clickbait" side to it... That being said, as long as you deliver on what your title is, it isn't the crappy clickbait we see most prevalent on YouTube. The goal is to also provide value to make them want to come back for more.

@Adam @Andy, I think you're both right! Clickbait is a HUGE part of YouTube now, so it's important to deliver something in your video on the same level of excitement as your video title. I think what Chris Broad means isn't making your title something like, "FOREIGNER EATS WHAT IN JAPAN?!" and the video shows Chris Broad eating sushi or something. However, serving up a potentially poisonous blowfish sashimi with the underlying fear of suffering a painful end? That's quality content.

Clickbait is not a bad thing per se, as long as the content and the quality of the video are there.

Exactly! Content is king! You just need to get them in the door as it were.

Clickbait is not necessarily a bad thing, when done right it can hook the right demographic into watching your content. It's the unfortunate reality when it comes to YouTube but clickbait doesn't have this evil term that YouTubers use to get their videos out there, Chris' example is perfect because it is catchy buzzwords but they are relevant to the video he's made.

It was interesting to see the different categories of videos that you've made and how they influence the title name, I am definitely making a note on that so thanks a lot Chris!

This was probably one of the most helpful videos so far. Titles can be so hard or ruin your videos chances if not done right

Is the thumbnail video Chris mentioned yet to be released or am I the only one not finding it?

This was a great video!
I agree, there has to be a clickbait-ish side to every title to attract viewers, but the truth is, they will only stay and subscribe if the content is good... or at least it should be like that. Considering YouTube's current state of affairs, I find myself just not understanding how the World works anymore.. especially younger generations.
